Meet Eliza

I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. In session, I use an eclectic therapeutic approach, meaning I find value in multiple counseling theories to offer you a unique and individualized therapeutic experience that best meets your needs. I am client-centered and meet you where you are- I aim to create a collaborative atmosphere where we can work together to achieve wellness.

My clinical interests include life transitions, self-esteem, relationships, queerness, and identity exploration. I have a particular passion for working with those who crave a deeper understanding of their own internal processes.

Whether you are looking to build coping skills, increase self-awareness, identify patterns that aren’t working for you, work through relationships, or challenge your internalized beliefs, I will work with you at a comfortable, personalized pace to help you set and meet your goals. I look forward to getting to know you as we take this journey together!

I’m so glad you’re here!

No matter the reason you’re seeking support, my goal is to show up for you in a nonjudgmental, affirming, and compassionate way. Life can throw a lot of curveballs towards us, and my goal is to walk beside you in every step of your journey.

What’s in a name?

Common Ground Counseling is more than the title of a practice- it’s a commitment to celebrating the human-to-human relationship between us as we bring you closer to your goals. Adversity is a part of life, and the inherent connection between us and our life experiences is what can help us navigate your path towards wellness together.
